Should Spider-Man Have a Limited Liability Company?

The main reason? Protection from potential exposure to liability through an extremely flexible entity.
If Peter Parker owns a house, a couple retirement accounts, expensive photography equipment and a relatively new sedan then he should think about forming a limited liability company (L.L.C.). This is because there is an extreme likelihood that through his work as Spider-Man, he will come into contact with people who would like to be compensated for any damage he has caused, regardless of the reasons, while acting in his capacity as Spider-Man. That could be done by placing all of his "Spider-Man" assets into a Limited Liability Company.
Silliness aside, this would also apply for people or businesses which interact with the public in any sense of the imagination. There will always be the potential that you could incur some liability for injury or damages caused by you or your employees in the scope of your line of work.
Are you a painter? Do you sell customized clothing? Are you a self-employed personal trainer? You might want to think about protecting your assets from potential liability.
Or do you or your employees have to drive in a vehicle within the scope of your business? That is a great source of potential liabililty.
So should Spider-Man set up a L.L.C.? Yes. Though that also does not mean you need to be a superhero to want to protect you and your family from potential liability from your business. Let us help you!
